Anne and Terry welcome you to The Little Nest, set next to their own home - The Nest - in an enviable position overlooking Maenporth Beach and the south west coastal path. This individual and attractive cedar-clad apartment offers warm, modern and comfortable accommodation and is a perfect base from which to enjoy the beauty of the Cornish countryside and coastline.

On the south side of the beach, The Little Nest resides in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Just less than two hundred metres away is the acclaimed Cove Restaurant and Bar, known for its award winning chef, great service and avant-garde menu.

Sure to be a hit all year round, this light and airy property has been built to a very high standard with plentiful insulation and more than adequate heating to keep you cosy during those chillier winter months.

Accommodation

Electronic vehicle gates from Maenporth Road open onto (fairly steep but short - no more than 25 metres) drive. Parking for one car on hardstanding area at the bottom of the external staircase. A dozen wooden steps leads to the first floor level. Small gate opening onto large deck and front door to

Living Area : a good sized open plan room with well-equipped, modern, fitted kitchen and breakfast bar with two chairs. Electric oven, four ring ceramic hob, built-in microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge with ice box. (Should you require more freezer space, the owners can make some available to you in the garage below). The sitting area with generous, comfortable seating, 22" Flatscreen TV, integral DVD player and Freesat enjoys lovely views, through the french doors, over the garden to the beach beyond. The french doors open onto balcony with contemporary cedar wood and glass balustrade.

Bedroom : Double (4ft6) bed, bedside tables, lamps and ample built-in clothes storage.

Shower Room : with large shower cubicle, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside : the large sunny deck with picnic bench, at the rear of the property, has wonderful sea views to the headland beyond. The front balcony with table and two chairs enjoys views through the trees to the beach and sea. The beauty of having two sitting out areas on either side of the building is that it affords you more time outside when the weather is favourable. Guests are most welcome to use the garden seating area too, with its lovely view out to Falmouth Bay. Dog owners can be assured that, under their supervision, their pets can roam around freely and safely in the securely gated and fenced grassy garden.

"We have had a fantastic week at the Little Nest. Anne & Terry's hospitality has been wonderful and the lovely touches to welcome us (bread ,milk etc.) were very much appreciated. Everywhere we have been has been beautiful. We would especially recommend St Ives and The Pandora Inn at Mylor, but we wouldn't imagine that anywhere is disappointing! The little coves that are walking distance from here are definitely a must - quiet and secluded and perfect for a bit of sunbathing. Until next time............."
