Location Guide

The Poly

The Poly in the middle of town acts as an art hub, with a cinema on most nights showing independent and foreign films. They also have a changing weekly gallery space showcasing local artists, this could be anything from pottery to photographs.

Falmouth Art Gallery on The Moor (above the library) has a selection of art showcased from different artists, including a very interesting collection of Automatas.
There are lots of different art galleries along the main shopping streets selling artwork, from cheaper imagery of the local area, to expensive collectable paintings.

More often than not there will be various markets either at The Moor or Events Square (outside the Maritime Museum) selling local goods. Keep up to date with our events calendar.

Falmouth University

And of course there is Falmouth University, specialising in the arts. Although they donít have a specific gallery space, in June there are end of year exhibitions and campus tours are run all year on both campuses (Falmouth and Penryn) if you are interested in having a look.

Arts for Children

Falmouth Art Gallery and The National Maritime Museum always have fun creative childrenís activities in school holidays, a brilliant way to keep them busy.
