Aber View

This beautiful apartment is in a glorious Regency house, built in 1821 for a Packet Ship Captain. Both the living room and the bedroom have stunning river views. You can breakfast in bed while you watch the ebb and flow of the Aber (Cornish for ‘mouth of the river') or pop down to Stone's bakery and café on the nearby High Street for artisan and picnic treats.

The early morning sun streams into the lovely, quiet garden where you can relax in teak steamer chairs watching the light on the water and the boats to and fro. Aber View has everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. Perfectly positioned between the marina and the harbour, the apartment is only a couple of minutes walk to the Greenbank Hotel with its smart waterside restaurant and Working Boat pub, both serving delicious food. Stroll five minutes further along the picturesque waterside and you'll come to Falmouth High Street where, as well as Stone's bakery, you'll find independent, antique and vintage shops, the wonderful Oliver's restaurant and the excellent Beacon Café. Close by is the Prince of Wales Pier where ferries take you to the lovely villages of Flushing and St Mawes and the beaches there.

Aber View is a little piece of heaven on the river, a perfect base to explore the delights of The Fal, The Helford, the many nearby beaches and all that the vibrant town of Falmouth has to offer.

“We loved just sitting in the sun in the garden, drinking Pimms and watching the sailing boats in the harbour. Very relaxing and that's what being on holiday is all about! Thank you”
