The harbour is the third deepest natural harbour in the world and is famous for its sailing waters. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall on the Events Square, Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant and Fish & Chip shop are less than a ten minute walk away.

Access to the seafront can be via the private close or via 52 steps, that are in 6 sets of 7.

Gylly Beach cafe is a beautiful ten minute stroll along the beach and rocks at low tide, or from the pavement above with interesting coastal plants and stunning sea views. Book ahead to eat indoors, or sit outside and grab the last of the evening sun.
