Falmouth enjoys a vibrancy throughout the year, including, to name a few events, the Sea Shanty Festival in June, the Oyster Festival mid October and Falmouth Week in August.

You can arrive at Kinbrae House, park the car and leave it in the same spot for your entire holiday if you wish. Falmouth town is just a ten minute walk away and from here you can catch ferries and boats to St Mawes, the Helford, Truro and Flushing. Feel the wind in your hair and enjoy the sights of Falmouth from the water.

With a maritime history rooted in and around the water it's no wonder the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, on Discovery Quay, is a firm favourite with visitors. Pendennis Castle, Henry VIII's finest coastal fortress, perched high on the point is another interest point, or at least worth a stroll around the moat with your dog.
