Light streams through Curlew's generous Edwardian windows filling the airy room with a natural glow. As soon as you wake make plans over a leisurely breakfast while you check out the sea state from your table with a view.

From long romantic strolls along Falmouth's waterfront to something a little more active, perhaps kayaking or a race to Gylly buoy and back (see if you can beat the locals), Curlew ticks all the boxes.

Dressing gowns, slippers and complimentary toiletries, along with other thoughtful touches await. Comfort is key at Curlew and makes for a cosy night in after a day of  Cornish coastal life.

If you love to cook, you'll find all you need in the kitchen to rustle up a delicious meal, just add the tasty ingredients from the local farmers' market held every Tuesday on The Moor. If you prefer to dine out, then the chefs of Falmouth are cooking up a storm just a short walk from your front door. Your closest restaurant Gylly Beach Café serves delicious daily specials using the finest local ingredients - see which fish has landed that morning.

Curlew is not just for the romantics as the sumptuous super-king size bed can be split into two singles for a perfect night's shut-eye.

The result is the perfect bolthole for two.

We loved the location of Curlew, the high standard of accommodation and extra touches. One of the nicest properties we have stayed in and we have stayed in quite a few.
