Further Notes

LOGS: One basket of logs provided October to Easter. More can be purchased from Trago Mills, Baileys Home Store in Penryn or many local garages.

PETS: One well behaved dog welcome at £20 per week each provided they are kept to the ground floor only and muddy paws are cleaned outside.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: Refundable within fourteen days.

NUMBER OF PEOPLE: Skysail is best suited to six people as there is a king size bed and a super-king/twin room on the first floor. There is also a lovely, second floor balcony room with double bed (pushed up against the wall). As the bed is situated in this position we regard it only suitable for one person, although of course you may like to sleep two in there. The further bed space is the mezzanine double mattress with quirky access and low head room. Again we regard this bed as suitable for one (able bodied) person, but it may be perfect for a young couple with a sense of adventure. There is a sofa bed in the reading room, to allow for some flexibility should the mezzanine bed not be your preference. Bedding will be provided for the sofa bed if special arrangements have been made with the CHC office, at least two weeks in advance of your stay.

BED LINEN: Please be sure to let us know on booking or at least two weeks prior to arrival your bedroom requirements, so that the housekeeping team can make up the beds correctly for your party.

MEZZANINE BED: Not suitable for small children, anyone with mobility issues or a sleep walker as there are ladder like steps to access the bed and a considerable drop from the platform. As the bed is located in the roof space the headroom is limited but the views and sunrise over the Carrick Roads from the bed are worth it.
