Leave the car and explore this perfect corner of Cornwall by foot, ferry or train!

Nestled into the top of the old high street, which is home to the popular Stones Bakery and lots of lovely independent shops and restaurants. At the bottom of the hill is Prince of Wales pier where you can catch the ferry up the River Fal to Truro, or across the river to St Mawes and The Roseland.

Falmouth itself is a bustling town center with local cinema or The Poly with films and exhibitions. There are art galleries, the National Maritime Museum and lots of award winning restaurants - the closest being The Star and Garter which is the perfect setting for a romantic meal.

By car you can reach most of Cornwall within 1 hour's drive from Falmouth, visit the picturesque Porthcurno or see the Eden Project while you're here.
