The little hamlet of Treviades is surrounded by peaceful, rolling countryside. Constantine village, with its post office, Spar shop and excellent liquer/wine store is just over a mile and a half away.

The Trengilly Wartha Inn, which serves very good food and ale, is just over a mile and a half by car, or less if you walk.

The Potager Garden and Glasshouse Café, are just up the road and are definitely not to be missed. If you arrive on foot (and there's no excuse not to) then entry is free. The café serves really tasty vegetarian food and the laid back atmosphere is quite seductive.

The harbour side town of Falmouth is approximately six miles, Truro twelve, St Ives and St Austell twenty seven, (albeit in different directions).

The rugged coast of the Lizard peninsula is within easy each and as the UK's most southerly point, is a popular spot for a stroll. By contrast the coast around the Helford River is much more tame, but no less beautiful.
