This fantastic holiday home is sure to be a hit with anyone that comes to Cornwall because of the stunning scenery, but it is also great for those that wish to enjoy the safe and sheltered waters of the Helford River.

The horticulturists among you will love the Trerose Estate garden, orchard and mature plantings.  The sub-tropical Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens are just over a mile and a half away and are great days out for all the family.

Guests of The Coach House are sure to enjoy the freedom to explore the area on foot, so we can arrange a private chef to come to you if required and for your groceries to be unpacked and ready for you on arrival, if you order them direct from a store to be delivered on changeover between 10am and 2pm.

Mawnan Smith village is just over a mile away for milk and newspapers, or Spar Constantine Stores can deliver daily if required.

The harbourside town of Falmouth is less than fifteen minutes in the car and has an array of shops, as well as two Tescos, a grocer, fishmonger and butcher.

There are many waterside restaurants and pubs in the area, such as The Ferry Boat Inn at Helford Passage, The Cove at Maenporth and Hooked on the Rocks at Swanpool.

With so much to do in the locality one could forgive you for not wanting to venture further afield, but if you do, then the rugged Lizard Peninsula, (the U.K.'s most southerly point) is well worth a visit, as well as many of the coves along this stretch of south coast Cornwall.

The pretty artist town of St.Ives is forty-five minutes by car. We suggest parking at Lelant Saltings and catching the train, for what is arguably the U.K.'s most beautiful train journey.

The Eden Project is also forty-five minutes by car, but in a north-easterly direction.
