Further Notes

PARKING : For two cars in in a pull in, and one in the small garage. Any additional cars must park in the village, 400 metres away, but please note there is very little free parking in the village, so this is not guaranteed.

PETS: One well behaved, house trained dog permitted @ £20 per week. Please do not leave your dog unattended in the house and ensure they do not sit on the furniture or go in bedrooms. Muddy paws to be cleaned outside please.

LOGS: One basket of logs provided from October to Easter. Further logs and kindling can be found in the shed in the garden using the honesty box at £7 a bag.

CAUTION: Apartment unsuitable for those with mobility issues and very small children.

HEATING: Underfloor heating in the living area plus a log burner. Heated towel rails in bathrooms.

MOORING/BOAT STORAGE: If you want to bring your own boat, subject to availability, moorings are available at the Yacht Club on a daily or weekly basis for dinghies, inflatables and larger boats up to 24 foot. Kayaks are available to hire at the Club.  Please contact Tom at admin@pnyc.co.uk to arrange this in advance and to find out about the charges. Trailers will be stored off site due to limited space. In addition, you can hire a range of boats, kayaks and paddle boards from Sailaway St Anthony (who deliver to the pontoon) or Helford River Boats. Guests may bring up to two kayaks at no charge but additional kayaks will be charged.  The water at Port Navas is navigable 4 hours either side of high tide.  Depending on the season, sailing lessons (particularly for children with The Helford River Children’s Sailing Trust https://hrcst.org.uk) and power boat courses are locally available.

KAYAKS: Two single kayaks can be provided. The kayaks are to be used by proficient swimmers only, with your own buoyancy vests and at your own risk. There is a fee of £100 per week to use the kayaks.

PNYC: On your doorstep. You are welcome to use this charming and compact bar and restaurant during your stay. To dine, it's best to book a table at least a week in advance as it is small and does fill up. Opening times and details can be found at www.pnyc.co.uk
