Summary

Willow Cottage oozes cottage charm. With a heavy dollop of guest comfort and an abundance of elegant country furnishings, this holiday home will not disappoint. Perfect for two or a family of up to four, this beautiful, terraced cottage resides in the heart of Mylor village, meaning that you will be popping to the village stores for your Cornish fayre before you know it and nipping back to the pretty, sun-trap garden to enjoy a pasty and an ale with your favourite book.

Willow Cottage will be sure to astound you on arrival with its capacious interior and the attention to detail afforded by its careful owners. The wood burner and efficient electric heaters will keep you more than cosy through the cooler months. Once spring arrives you will enjoy the longer days and the wonderful walks right from the doorstep to Restronguet, Flushing and Mylor Harbour.

Fully double glazed and with virtually all brand new fittings and furnishings in January 2016, you may not want to stray far from Willow Cottage. But venture you should as there is so much to see and do in the area. The thirteenth century, thatched pub at Restronguet, the Pandora Inn has a floating pontoon and is a favourite with kids as they can crab from here whilst you enjoy some delicious food and soak up the scenery. Children will love learning to sail at Mylor Watersports Centre and visiting St.Mawes on the small passenger ferry. For the foodies amongst us be sure to try at least one of Falmouth’s great restaurants, where the competition keeps the food great and the prices reasonable.

A well stocked shop, newsagent, butcher, fishmonger and pub will keep you fed and watered. The fantastic play park just quarter of a mile away will keep the little ones entertained. Mylor Harbour with its cafe, two restaurants, boat hire and watersports centre will get you on the water.

Weir Beach at Restronguet is a fairly close, but notably hilly, stroll away. For golden sands head to Gyllyngvase, Castle or Swanpool beaches in Falmouth.

From Falmouth you will no doubt be tempted to take a foot ferry to St.Mawes or the Helford River, but if water is not your thing, then the bustling harbourside town will keep you amused for hours with its interesting array of shops and great places to eat.

Dogs are welcome at Castaways and The Pandora Inn locally.

Willow Cottage was clean and welcoming, this has not always been the case in cottages we have stayed in through other agencies.
