Summary

Perched within a pretty wildflower meadow, this bohemian shepherd’s hut-style holiday home offers an enchanting way to experience the Cornish countryside.

Fishers Hut is our first foray into the world of glamping. With bee meadows and a private fire pit, it offers you the ideal opportunity to retreat to the countryside and hold your own private festival under the stars.

Set within the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a fifteen-minute stroll from the golden sands of Maenporth Beach. This two-bedroom detached property is far larger than your traditional shepherd’s hut and comes with the attention to detail and bespoke furnishings you’d expect to find in a luxury home.

Nights will be spent around the fire pit marvelling at the stars above while enjoying a bottle of something worth savouring. You’ll chat for hours, with the warmth and crackle of logs at your feet, about your day’s activities – and all those to come – with so much to see and do so close by.

Fisher’s hut is geared up for sharing a simpler, more traditional way of life, but you’ll still find Wi-Fi and good 3G coverage. Beneath each bed ambient heaters ensure warm nights, along with a heated towel rail in the bathroom and additional auxiliary heating. There is no TV, but we’re certain it won’t be missed as you spend your time enjoying the magic of the outdoor moment, the company of loved ones, and the wonder of the nature that surrounds you.

Set within rolling hills on the outskirts of Falmouth, Fisher’s Hut has its very own orchard, beehives, and bee-friendly meadows. You’re within walking distance to the village of Budock Water, and just three miles from the harbour town of Falmouth, home to trendy shops and cafés.

Walk through lanes and woodland for just fifteen minutes and you’ll arrive at Maenporth Beach, with its
delightful café, watersports shack, and award-winning restaurant The Cove. This sheltered beach is perfect
for paddleboarding, and the South West Coast Path extends in both directions, bringing opportunity to
explore the cliffs and coves nearby.

The grade-A waters of the Helford River are a ten-minute drive away and the best of the beaches on the
North Coast are within a forty-five minute drive.

Memory Wall

Lettie, staying at Fishers Hut

"It was a trip back to childhood for me, memories of family and sunshine and music in the car. Being around the little beaches, collecting shells, the air, the beautiful quality of light. I was thrilled to see Falmouth so as it used to be, fell in love all over again with St Mawes, with Mousehole, with Feock and St Just in Roseland. The accom was exquisite. We needed space to relax, to read, and to just settle away from stressful demanding jobs. It offered us that. I even had a cry when I left!! Thank you SO much."
