Summary

The open plan living area is light and airy with all the comforts you need. The kitchen has been designed with simplicity and ease in mind and has everything you need for fun family dinners after a day in the fresh Cornish air. For the cooler months light up the wood-burner and snuggle up for the evening. You can be sure of a good night’s sleep at Pendennis. We think the size of the apartment is just perfect for three. There is the added bonus of a pull-out bed for an additional child in the single bedroom if needed.

Nothing is far from your doorstep here. Follow the smell of the sea and you will be sinking your toes in the sand, reliving happy childhood holiday memories and making so many new ones before you know it. Stroll home, the long way around (we can tell you where the best Flat White can be found) and indulge in a spot of shopping in the many boutiques and unique shops that help to make Falmouth so special.

Bring your dog to Pendennis and exercise him/her in Fox Rosehill Gardens, just below Falmouth University Art Campus. Pop up to Provedore for tapas style lunch and an atmosphere akin to that of a Paris cafe.

Next door Manacles accommodates up to four people, so if you are a group of seven/eight then enjoy the luxury of two fully self-contained apartments with adjacent front doors.

To the rear of the property, accessed from a side gate is a small communal garden, shared between the three flats. Mainly laid to lawn this is not a hugely exciting area, but it is somewhere at least to hang your washing.

All you need is a comfy pair of shoes. The bus stop and train station are a short walk down the road.  If you fancy something more adventurous then set sail for St Mawes, The Roseland or Helford river from Falmouth pier.

With three lovely sandy beaches, Falmouth is a great choice for getting some Cornish sand and sea. All are within walking distance of Pendennis, with Gyllyngvase being the closest. Lifeguarded by the RNLI during the summer and with Blue-flag status, Pendennis is a great choice for sea-swimming.

Head to Provedore, a local hidden treasure, just around the corner. Tasty tapas and mellow mochas from a friendly neighbourhood deli.
Pendennis is conveniently located just a stone’s throw from Falmouth University’s Falmouth campus, and a walk through it’s sub-tropical gardens is certain to inspire.

Pendennis is named after Pendennis Castle, a Tudor fortress that overlooks Falmouth town and the sea. Pendennis Castle is managed by English Heritage and offers a great day out on an overcast day. Nearby on events square is the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the ideal place to learn about all things nautical and enough on display to keep little ones and grown-ups entertained for hours.
