Parking
Allocated, easy parking on a large, private driveway (shared with the owners of the main house). The parking space is almost adjacent to Polltreth, on a lower level. There are 12 steps up to the gated entrance to the patio area, with a handrail.
Patio
South facing and sheltered, vast patio area with two sun loungers, wooden table, chairs, parasol, barbeque and one step up into the
Kitchen
French doors into the open plan living space and kitchen to the left. Electric oven, four ring gas hob, extractor fan, microwave, slimline dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, sink and Welsh dresser housing ample crockery and glassware.
Dining area
With expansive table and six chairs, sideboard and settee.
Sitting room
Comfortable seating, G-Plan dresser, coffee table, books, TV, DVD player and wood burning stove.
Door from living room into
Small hallway with cupboard/utility storage, iron and ironing board.
Shower room
Corner shower, small basin, WC and (time controlled electric) heated towel rail.
Bedroom
One step down into this triple bedroom with king size bed and additional full size single bed. Wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps. There is also a fold up Z-bed should you require it for an additional child.
Swimming pool
14m x 6m (unheated) outdoor swimming pool, for seasonal use. The pool is 1.2m deep at the shallow end and gradually slopes to a max depth of 2.3m
Location and Surrounding Area
From here the coastal path network awaits you. Head east for Gyllyngvase Beach and the popular Gylly cafe, or west for Maenporth, Mawnan Shear and the beautiful Helford River. Pack a picnic and choose your perfect, alfresco spot for lunch, or stop off in one of the many waterside pubs and enjoy some delicacies.
Every Tuesday you will find a Farmer’s Market on The Moor in Falmouth town centre, so stock up on organic meats, local fish and delicious vegetables. Stones Bakery is where you will find the best sourdough and the most delicious pastries. For the best coffee in town, pull up a pew in Espressini. Thereafter you will enjoy a mooch around the town’s many excellent delis, art and gift shops. There are two cinemas in Falmouth, The Phoenix for the Hollywood greats and The Poly for world and arthouse cinema.
From Falmouth to the North coast of Cornwall, is just 30 minutes by car if you head to Portreath, so keep checking that weather forecast for where the sun shines brightest. The pretty artist’s town of St Ives is a 45 drive away, Penzance 55 and St Austell and the Eden Project 40 minutes.

Pets
One/two well-behaved dogs welcome @ £20 each, with the kind permission of the owner. No dogs under 1 year of age. Please note that the owner in the main house has their own dogs and cats, all of which are very friendly.
Wood-burner
The wood-burner will be laid ready for your arrival (October to Easter) and one complimentary basket of logs and kindling are provided. Further baskets of logs can be purchased from the owners for £4 each.
Swimming pool
The temperature of the pool, whilst unheated, is usually 20-24 degrees in June. The swimming pool is used at guests’ own risk.
Nursery equipment
Please let us know if you require a travel cot and high chair.
