From the enormous Georgian sash windows you can enjoy the most wonderful harbour views and across the Carrick Roads to Flushing village. A ten minute stroll along the harbour road takes you to the Old High Street, its eclectic boutiques and some fabulous restaurants. Just a little further down the hill and you are into the centre of Falmouth town.

At the other end of this bustling little town is the Events Square, National Maritime Museum and the renowned Rick Stein Champagne and Oyster Bar. Falmouth is well served with independent restaurants, and you’ll be able to sample anything from a Sunday roast to fine dining within a ten-minute walk.

Cornwall is renowned for it’s sandy beaches, and Falmouth has three of them. The largest, Gyllyngvase has Blue-Flag status and is safely watched over by RNLI lifeguards in the summer. This wonderful stretch of sand is a short car drive away, or if you are just bringing towels a stroll through town takes you there.

Falmouth is well connected to other parts of Cornwall, with many places a 45-minute drive away. For a day out, head to St Ives to visit the Tate Gallery, or the The Eden Project for a spot of fun amongst tropical plant-life,

Lovely property - photographs paint a very honest picture of what you get. Great location although parking can be a bit painful...

Response

I am so pleased you enjoyed Tehidy House and the location. I imagine you experienced some issues with parking as there are a few people along the road having work done at the moment. I am sorry to hear this had an impact on you.
