Reindeer Rice Krispy Cakes

We’ve been busy preparing for the village lights ‘switch on’ this evening. Each year we offer something for a small donation to raise money for the village lights committee. This year Mel found inspiration online for these fab Reindeer Rice Krispie cakes.

Here is the recipe if you fancy making some this weekend.

What you’ll need:

60g Unsalted butter

3 Tablespoons golden syrup

100g Milk or dark chocolate (cut into small pieces)

90g Rice Krispies

12 Pretzels cut in half through the middle (we have gone for Chocolate coated)

12 Red noses

24 Edible eyes

 

Method:

Melt the chocolate, then stir in the butter and the syrup.

Pour over the Rice Krispies and stir gently until all coated.

Spoon in to 12 bun cases and decorate with your antlers first, then add the eyes and nose.

Leave to cool and enjoy!
