Helford Passage

This sandy, south-facing beach is a favourite for families. With an ice-cream stand, jetty, toilets and (limited- uphill) parking facilities, a day spent at Helford Passage beach can be one of gentle and carefree relaxation.

Hire a boat or kayak directly from Helford Passage beach and get out onto the water, or hop on the passenger ferry to Helford Village for a change of scene. Whatever you get up to here, we’re certain it will be fun!

Do check the tides while planning your visit, as the beach reduces down to just a couple of feet when the tide is at its highest. This does, however conveniently provide the perfect excuse to pop into The Ferryboat Inn, a wonderful waterside pub and just the ticket for a sundowner or brilliant local food out on the terrace.

Emily loves it...

“Small sandy beach, (just a few feet at high tide). Loved by children and adults for its array of rockpools, clambering opportunities and The Ferry Boat Inn pub.”
